We introduced veneered floating shelves either side of the Range for cookery books with hooks beneath for pretty mugs and jugs.
Large pan, cutlery and utensil drawers were located within the Island along with the main sink and dishwasher.
The Island was designed to be the essence of the room. The arrangement needed to function as the main preparation area but also needed to incorporate an area for seating.
